Studio Closing July 31st

Hello Friends, students, artists, everyone,
I will be closing the studio as of July 31st.  There will be classes held at the studio in May and June and after that, I will be looking to teach in Recreation Centers, my home and maybe in your home. I would love to start teaching in homes. Just like the old Tupperware parties. You supply the refreshments, I'll supply the class.  I would ask you have at least 6 paying guests and the host is free, of course. Come on, who's first?

I Have Moved!

After a wonderful and exciting time at my old gallery; I have moved across the corridor to a more spacious and beautiful gallery with enough room to teach my classes. The paintings are now spaced out to the point that some people are seeing them for the first time. I now will be able to have the classroom and my work station set up in the back at all times. And the best part is, wait for it, I have a HUGE storage area in the way back. Come see me before they knock the place down. Suite 2070.

Gelli Art Plates have arrived

The 6x6 Gelli Art Plates are here.  I just have a few items to finish up and will be ready to start posting classes.  The first class will be learning how to use the Gelli Plate making a whole lot of beautiful papers to be used in your art. I will be posting the days and times and the list of supplies you will need to bring. The other classes will also include how to use the Gelli Plate and will offer show and tell making cards, making mini books,  making collage and, of course, Zentangle. I have 15 Gelli plates available for sale. Of course, if you have already purchased one, bring it along. STAY TUNED!

Hello my favorite tanglers and future tanglers. I would like you to stay tuned to my list of classes. I have decided to stretch the imagination using Gelli Art Plates and Zentangle. We will be using the Gelli art plate to create beautiful backgrounds for ZIAs in a four hour class. To see the beauty you can create, click on the link Gelli Art Plate.

1st Annual Pens and Patterns Zentangle® Show

I am amazed at the beautiful ways people use the Zentangle® Method in their lives. For two days, I have received the entries to my 1st annual Pens and Patterns Zentangle® Show. The amazing creations brought to me are as follows: a delicate mobile, a tribute to recovery, a celebration of survival, turned wooden angels, faces, animals, and such beautiful use of color. I'm glad for judge Suzanne McNeill. I have too much awe in my eyes to pick the "best of" anything. If you are in the area, you really should come by to see this wonderful art.
Rick and Maria, your 3 1/2 inch tile has come a very long way.
May I send out a great big "Thank You" to those who have entered.
If you missed it this year, plan to take part in 2015.  I'm sure it will be even more "awe"mazing!
